Tex70 Nylon Thread
UV resistant for extended durability in the outdoors. This thread also has a tensile strength of 10 pounds, this limit in addition to our Center Bar Tacking makes connections very strong.

3M Scotchlite Reflective Tape
This high reflectivity tape glows @ 500 candle power. This means that when you shine a flashlight at it, it looks like someone is shining a flashlight back at you. This tape is used as a safety precaution. At night this can be see from at least 600 feet. This means that a driver can see you from farther off, also in an emergency situation, a rescue worker looking for you can find you easier.

Webbing Polyproplene: Heavy Link
This webbing has a tensile strength of around 900 pounds per inch of width. This puts our waist belts at holding around 1800 pounds along the webbing. This webbing also does not absorb water, making it great for use in water. The tough nature of this webbing also makes it abrasion resistant and prevents it from slipping through buckles unless you want it to.

Zippers
We use YKK zippers in sizes from #5 to #10. The #5 zippers we use are coil Uretek zippers that are splash proof. The #8 zippers we use have a built in cover to protect from abrasion and are used on our tents, bivys, and sleeping bags. The #10 zippers we use are for heavy duty bag applications where there is stress across the zipper.

Gripper Elastic
1%double heavy duty black elastic with bands of rubber on the inside to grip what is in the pocket and keep it in place.

Elastomer Lash Tabs
These flexible squares allow you to add straps or cords to you product to adapt to your needs. They are flexible over a wide temperature range so they wont crack when it gets cold.

Rock Lockster Buckles
These buckles are designed for high durability outdoor use. One half is made of Acetal, the other half is made of Nylon, this combination forms the strongest buckle over the widest temperature range. These buckles are also glove friendly.

Foam Handles
All our handles are made of a tubular nylon webbing filled with closed cell foam. This makes them ultra strong, think 3,500 pounds tensile strength along the handle, and soft on the hands to prevent fatigue.

We custom construct our zipper and cord pulls to have sides that stay grippy even when wet, are easy to use with gloves on, and are glow in the dark. All of this on a reflective cord. This makes their use in the dark a breeze.

Closed Cell Foam
All foam padding installed in our products is closed cell. This means that it will not absorb water, it will last longer, and is more impact resistant than the open cell foams that other manufacturers use.

HDPE Frame and Armor
We use High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) thermoplastic in our frames and support structures in our packs and bags. This plastic is firm but not brittle, flexible but not flimsy, light weight, and does not break in cold temperatures. It is also chemical resistant.

6061-T6 Aluminum
Combines relatively high strength, good workability, and high resistance to corrosion into a lightweight package. This type of aluminum is most often used to make aircraft fittings, we use it in our pack Limited Slip™ frames.
