Our goal is to provide to the people who need it;
Equipment that functions well over the widest range of possible uses through original design or by end user customization.
Has a high level of durability so that the product will keep up with the users needs, and will not give out prematurely.
Is aesthetically pleasing to add to the overall picture, but never at a cost to functionality. And is reasonably priced so that the average person can afford what, up until now, has only been available to professionals.

History Title
Siege Gear™ is a division of S.M.R. Design™. S.M.R. Design™ was conceived in 1983 and has become a conglomerate of skilled artisans, engineers and laborers. The philosophy behind this, is that everything can be done in house, with little or no outsourcing. The team that makes up Siege Gear™ is a diverse group with backgrounds in engineering, art, computer science, fabrication, and medicine. The common factor is that each individual has a passion for the outdoors, and saw a gap in the equipment available for exploring that pastime. So, Siege Gear™ was born out of the necessity for gear that was lighter, stronger and more adaptable than equipment that could be found elsewhere. Being part of S.M.R. Design™, the solution was to start designing, engineering, and then manufacturing a new line of equipment to a demanding set of standards. What was created was "Gear that Survives™."
